\chapter{The Last Chapter}

    The last chapter is no different from the second chapter, or any of the
    others in between.  LaTeX will know that it is the end of last chapter
    as soon as it sees the start of another section, such as the
    bibliography or the appendix, or when it sees the `end-document' command.
